Fountain work in Holiday

Home · Areas · Holiday

Holiday yards already have a basin. We get it running again.

US 19 corridor, older lots, canals on the west side. A lot of basins here already exist. They just need service.

This lot

Holiday is older west Pasco: 1960s–80s block homes, smaller lots, chain link, and a commercial US 19 that does not look like Trinity. Canals show up as you go west. This is not a planned community with a paint deck.

Sandy, compacted, sometimes a buried slab where a previous owner poured a pad and quit. Digging is messy because of old irrigation poly and mystery conduit.

What actually fails here

The fountain in Holiday is often already there: a concrete shell, a stopped pump, algae, a cracked bowl. People do not want a $14,760 courtyard. They want it running without the standing-water smell.

What we install here

Pull the pump, decide if the basin is sound, replace fittings that went green, get a GFCI that is actually safe. New installs happen — usually a small urn, not a rock mountain.

A lot of fountains here were set twenty years ago. The pump gives out in August. We start with that, not with a new courtyard.

If the bowl is sound, we service it. We will not talk you into a courtyard package you did not ask for.

Canal-west Holiday gets the same salt talk as Port Richey. Inland Holiday gets iron stain and irrigation overspray.

If a previous owner buried the pump under rock with no vault, we will tell you the honest cost to make it serviceable. Leaving it buried is how it fails again in a year.

How we get there

US 19, Moog Road, Mile Stretch, the canal grid west toward the Gulf. Hudson is north; Port Richey is south. Holiday is the stretch people drive through and still live on.

Unincorporated Pasco. Repair does not need a ceremony. New electrical does.

Questions we get on this street

Can you just replace the pump?

Often yes. If the basin is cracked or the wiring is unsafe, we say that before we sell a pump.

Do you build big waterfalls in Holiday?

Rarely. Lots are small. A small urn or a repaired bowl is the usual work.

Notes from the yard

Freeze nights, algae, room on the truck. A few times a year. Not a weekly blast.
