Fountain work in Trinity

Home · Areas · Trinity

Trinity HOAs allow water features. They do not allow surprises.

Seven Springs, Trinity Boulevard, and the medical corridor off State Road 54. Newer lots, architectural review, equipment that has to disappear.

This lot

Trinity is planned: 1990s–2010s production homes, HOA architectural committees, smaller side yards, and front courtyards that face the street. Seven Springs golf sits on the west edge. Lots are tidy. There is no junk pile behind the shed.

Sandy fill, irrigation everywhere, less groundwater fight than a Cotee lot. The issue is not digging — it is putting the hole where the plat and the irrigation main will allow it.

What actually fails here

The failure mode in Trinity is not salt. It is an HOA letter. Unscreened equipment, a pond with fish, a spill that stains the driveway pavers, a pump that hums into the neighbor's lanai at 9 p.m.

What we install here

Typical Trinity job: a courtyard bowl or a small urn on the lanai pad, equipment in a shrub screen the committee already approved, a quiet pump, and a drawing they can stamp.

Trinity looks finished. That is the point. A fountain here has to look like it came with the house, not like a weekend project from the big-box on 54.

Architectural review wants dimensions, finish, and where the equipment sits. We do that before we buy the piece. Showing up with a crate and hoping the committee likes it is how you own a fountain in the garage.

Golf-adjacent lots at Seven Springs catch more wind and more eyes from the cart path. We keep splash inside the rim and skip the tall spray heads.

If your documents ban 'ponds' but allow recirculating features, that is a language fight we have already had. A closed basin with no fish is usually the path.

How we get there

Medical Center of Trinity, Little Road, State Road 54, and the Seven Springs golf entrance are how we describe the drive. Starkey Ranch is next door and gets its own page because the builder rules are not the same.

Pasco plus the HOA packet. The HOA is the longer wait. We write the submittal so you are not translating a fountain into architecture-speak at the kitchen table.

Questions we get on this street

Will the HOA approve a fountain?

Most Trinity associations allow a recirculating feature if equipment is screened and there is no open pond. We put that in the submittal.

Can I have a pondless waterfall in Trinity?

On a rear lot with room, yes. Front courtyards usually want a bowl, not a rock pile the committee did not draw.

Notes from the yard

Freeze nights, algae, room on the truck. A few times a year. Not a weekly blast.
