Gulf Harbors, Port Richey canals, Tarpon, Hudson Beach. Cheap brass becomes green and then it weeps.
West Pasco is not a beach town until it is. Canal lots in Gulf Harbors and Port Richey take salt on storm days. Hardware that lasts in Magnolia Valley will pit here.
We spec stainless or schedule-80 unions, pumps you can pull without a boat hook, and basins that overflow without taking a neighbor's lift well with them.
Do not top off a fountain with canal water after a storm. That sludge is why the impeller fails. Tap or well fill, closed basin.
A patina you wanted is not the same as a fitting that failed. Green crust on a thin spout is the second thing.
Inland NPR and Trinity do not need this spec. If we quote you salt hardware in Longleaf, ask why. If we skip it in Gulf Harbors, also ask why.
It will weather. It will not crumble like cheap plated brass in two summers.
We work New Port Richey, Trinity, Odessa, Lutz, and the four counties around them. We come to the lot.
Name, phone, city, what is in the yard. We call back.
Freeze nights, algae, room on the truck. A few times a year. Not a weekly blast.
